The story

1. Problem

   Roles were everywhere. Which meant, effectively, nowhere.

   New interim opportunities arrived from job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach, all going to different people, through different channels. They'd eventually land in someone's inbox, get forwarded to Slack, and disappear into thread history. By the time the right person saw a role, the window to act had often already closed.

2. Opportunity

   The bottleneck wasn't volume. It was the lag between a lead arriving and the team being able to act on it.

   The roles existed. The consultants existed. The matching judgment was already there. What was missing was a single place where a new role appeared the moment it was live: visible to everyone, in context, ready to act on. Reduce that lag from days to minutes, and the whole pipeline moves faster.

3. Solution

   Built over a weekend. In use by Monday.

   SeventyOne Match is an internal platform that pulls interim roles from Gmail, LinkedIn, and job boards into one searchable interface, automatically, the moment they arrive. No forwarding, no manual entry, no chasing down threads. The team went from scattered inboxes to a live pipeline in 48 hours, built with Lovable. By Monday morning, it was the default.
